Eggs-cellent Update From The LGfL Naturecam Birdbox

Colleagues or schools interested in the LGfL Naturecam project may like to know that at least half of the 10 eggs laid by the coal tit nesting in a LGfL bird box at Charlton Manor School, Greenwich have hatched during the course of the weekend. A quick peek this morning shows us a busy ‘mum’ feeding a nest full of hungry mouths.  See: http://content.lgfl.org.uk/birds/double.asp Also, it is fairly clear in the picture below that we now have at least 5 eggs in Child’s Hill.

Digital Teaching and Learning Resources now available on the National Education Network

LGfL works closely with similar learning grids in Scotland, Wales, N Ireland and throughout England. By linking the regional grids, a unique National Education Network has been created. Working together, and where copyright restrictions allow, the Grids have pooled their quality on-line resources, and present these for use by the Nation’s schools and learners at www.nen.gov.uk

This site can also be accessed via a new tab above the LGfL Content Grid www.content.lgfl.net  or by clicking on http://www.nen.gov.uk/tandl
