Please book a place at www.haveringcpd.org.uk – Course code: AJA/2012-13/168. The event will be run by Lego Education and will explore how Lego can be used in primary education. Colleagues from Pyrgo Priory Primary School will talk about how it has been used in their school and the impact it has had on pupils’ learning. There will also be a demonstration by Lego.
- Another event that you may be interested in is ‘Introduction to LEGO MINDSTORMS for Education’ Tuesday 20th November, 4pm-5.45pm, CEME Campus. Ideal for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, MINDSTORMS is the versatile robotics resource which has the flexibility to allow you to build anything from very basic robots all the way through to the most advanced AI. This session will allow delegates to build a rover and use the intuitive drag-and-drop software to take on the LEGO Challenge! Come along to this free workshop, learn about the LEGO System for Learning and see for yourself how LEGO Education can help develop programming and control whilst encouraging teamwork, problem-solving and creativity.
