The project is coordinated by the Local Authority and the two Language Colleges. With a clear focus on implementing the Primary National Languages Strategy, the team supports over 40 of Havering’s primary schools.  The emphasis on Language Learning Strategies, Intercultural Understanding and Knowledge about Language enables children to enhance their Oracy and Literacy and to enjoy the learning of languages.
Support includes resources, whole-school INSET, demonstration lessons, consultation and training.
